I wanted to review this to give a perspective from someone who has owned the white version of this sink for over three years. Without a doubt, this is a very beautiful sink. I am super happy with the aesthetic.
However, it does and will stain. I have a cast iron white sink in my other home and though it scuffs, it does not require nearly the level of upkeep that this sink requires.
No matter how careful you are, if you are in a hurry running out the door and dump your leftover coffee and leave, or you have pasta sauce and forget to rinse, you will 100% have a stained sink. It also scuffs easily when it rubs against pots and pans or a scouring pad.
To keep it pristine is a daily battle which includes regular scrubbing, magic erasers, and bar-keepers friend. It requires constant, and I mean multiple times a day constant attention. Now all sinks need to be cleaned daily in my opinion, but this one almost needs to be cleaned every time it's used. I went on a business trip and left my husband and kids home alone for five days, then had to do a serious recovery exercise once I came back because I found the sink severely stained upon my return. Bad news, I had to resort to bleach which is not recommended. Good news, the bleach worked and removed the stains.

We just installed the sink yesterday and it is beautiful! Very impressed with the style. However, i washed dishes for the first time and it left some scuffs in the basin (perhaps from the stainless steel pans?) I was gente washing, so I was surprised by the scuffs. I had to scrub quite hard to get rid of them and it still didnt completely come off. Perhaps a magic eraser will work, but I hope this doesn't happen every time I do dishes. (The gold drains are an aftermarket purchase).
We are in love with this sink and the attachments it comes with. The 6040 set up is ideal for when we’re washing our dishes and need to rinse The black colour looks so great with our cupboards I especially love the attachment that allows me to rinse my vegetables or thaw meat easily in the sink without making a mess we had just decided to get rid of plastic cutting boards due to health concerns and so the free cutting board that came with the sink was such a bonus
