First of all, I love the aesthetic and the functionality of a 60/40 sink. There are two things that I'm not really happy with this sink...
First is how low the divider is between the two compartments. When you have one filled up with soapy water, it's often spilling over into the other side. If that's where you have your clean dishes, then you're getting dirty water on your clean dishes.
Second is how easily it stains. With the matte finish, it seems to be more porous. Despite trying to clean it every time I use it, cleaning it with Comet with bleach, or hitting it magic erasers, the finish just seems to be going downhill.
My partner has a white porcelain sink in her house, and it comes perfectly clean and brilliant white with just soapy water. If I were to design my kitchen again, I would go with porcelain.
This Norquay S-827N sink is an absolute showstopper! We undermounted it in our new kitchen and it looks incredible. The black composite granite is sleek and modern, and it complements our countertops perfectly.
What I love most about this sink is the low crossover section between the basins. It makes it so easy to wash large pots and pans, and I don't have to worry about water splashing over the divider. The basins are also nice and deep, which is a huge plus.
Installation was a breeze, and the sink seems very durable. We've only had it for a short time, but so far it's been incredibly easy to clean and maintain. I highly recommend this sink to anyone looking for a stylish and functional upgrade to their kitchen!
I'm obsessed with this sink! My previous sink was a farmhouse that took up a ton of room under the cabinet. This sink was smaller but between the extra counter space from the undermount to the large bassin I am more than happy. It actually feels deeper than my previous one and looks beyond sleek. I ordered the black drains to have a full black look and could not be happier! I also accidentally dropped some items on week 1, and not a scratch! I plan to sell my house and buy this sink for my next kitchen project!
We were looking for a white double-sided sink at a reasonable price. We ordered it without being able to see the actual sink in a store - lucky for us this one seemed to be a good fit. It arrived in only a few days so that was a plus. It is important to note that in all the website pictures it looks very white but the sink is actually more of an off-white/ivory colour. It works with our new countertops but we were expecting it to be whiter. We really like the double-sided sink design. It works well for us.
I simply LOVE THIS SINK ! I have searched a long time for this exact model and I am overwhelmed at the quality of this product. The deep sink is so useful to wash big items and the look is impeccable : modern with a touch of glamour, so practical with its double sink : I wanted a large and a small ouverture and I was sold on the unique style : I installed the smaller sink to the left - that was desire from the beginning. I strongly recommend this item !
